When I booked my scuba diving trip to Con Dao, Vietnam, I was picturing stunning reefs. And don't get me wrong, they were amazing. But I saw something on the Amadive itinerary: **Diving a Sunken Wreck**. My heart leaped. This wasn't just a standard dive; this was adventure into the past.

Honestly, I was a bit nervous. Diving a wreck requires extra care. But the crew at **Amadive** were absolutely professional. The Divemasters provided an excellent safety briefing. We discussed our safety procedures, the history of the wreck, and what to expect below. The fact we were in a small group instantly put me at ease safe.

Going down was surreal. First, it was just a dark shape in the blue, then suddenly the ship came into view. It is huge. The ship is now a bustling new home, draped in corals and teeming with fish. We saw big groupers hiding more info from inside the cargo hold, and lionfish hiding in the superstructure. That feeling of swimming next to this silent, ghostly vessel is hard to describe—eerie, awe-inspiring, and humbling at the same time. It truly is a time capsule under the water.

If you're an Open Water diver (or higher) visiting Con Dao and seeking something beyond the standard reef, I urge you this **dive** enough. It was the unforgettable highlight of my Vietnam trip. A huge shout-out to the **Amadive** team for their expertise and for making this unforgettable experience so safe.
